Wyld: (Old English, wīlde) Natural, that which has never been enclosed, domesticated or built to serve
Hal: (Old English, hāl) Complete, inviolable and sacred. What was whole before the world told us otherwise.
Lore: (Old English, lār) Knowledge shared through story, body, voice and place. The teaching that was shared by living.
THE WISDOM THAT WAS NEVER TAMED.
THE WHOLENESS THAT WAS ALWAYS YOURS.
You know how truth feels, as it thrums in your veins and pulses through the earth beneath you.
You know how wisdom sounds, in the stories told by elders and the songs that carry on the wind.
And you know how magic looks, as it dances in the sunrise and anchors itself amidst the earth.
But you also know, all too well, what it is to stand on a plateau which promises all of those things but delivers nothing but hollowness; the same old inauthentic emptiness that leaves you looking for those who remember.
Welcome to Wyld Hal Lore, where we are led by landscape, myth, and all that calls us deeper. Where we have long stopped performing and have chosen instead to return. And where we invite you to do the same. Are you ready?
WHO WE ARE
Wyld Hal Lore is the collaboration of two women positioned at either end of the land their ancestors have walked for centuries.
Rooted in the wild coastlines of Cornwall and the mythical hills of Northumberland respectively, Charlie Edwards and Ceryn Rowntree tend a line that holds everything from sacred story to living landscape. This work draws on the old traditions and myths of the British Isles. But more than that, it draws on the lore held in our souls and our bones, and the power that comes when we have the courage to voice and live that.
Ceryn Rowntree
Elder of the North,
Northumberland
Threshold Guide, Word Alchemist,
Primal Witch
Ceryn stands at the thresholds between what was, what is and what will become, holding a lantern to all those looking to create from the bones of all they have been. Working with the whispers of land and soul, her work is to remind us of the power and wisdom within us all.

Charlie Edwards
Elder of the South,
Cornwall
Weaver of Realms, Liminal Chantress,
Story Seer.
Charlie works with voice, story and the realms between worlds with the resonance that lives in landscape and body alike. Her work is to return us to what is wild and true within. From a place of both devotion and rebellion, she carries a lamp into the between and listens.

September 2027 - Star-Coiled: A return to Wyld Hal Lore
Do you hear the call of the Star-Coiled shore?
Do you feel the stirring of the woman that waits there for you?
The time for waiting is over. In September 2027 we invite you to journey to the sacred coast of Cornwall and spend three days in ceremony, community and remembrance away from expectations, prying eyes, and all that has tried to keep you small.
This is the return of your Wyldness.
This is the memory of your Wholness.
And this is the reclamation of the Lore that has been waiting for you.
Two ends of the land. One unbroken line.
