For three days there will be no prying eyes and no performance. The world will not find you here as the tides breathe new life into your blood and the stars offer a map to all the daylight obscures. Join us around the ceremonial fire for tales of those whose stories were always meant to inspire, allowing them to illuminate the potent lore within each of us.
Our venue is right on the threshold where Cornwall begins — the gateway to Kernow, where the land starts to shift into something older and wilder. Tucked along the water's edge, it's a place of quiet woodland, tidal light, and deep stillness, close enough to reach easily yet far enough to feel like a true crossing over. It's the perfect setting to arrive, exhale, and let the land herself hold us before we begin the first ceremony.
Be with us on ground made hallowed as we liberate the sacredness beneath its stone; beneath the bounds that have kept us all restricted.
Meet us there for a weekend of ritual and celebration, of sharing and unfurling. Sit by the fire as we share the stories that pulse the land and our blood. And sing with us in the waves as the sea brings the voices of all those who are calling us back to ourselves.

This is the shore where the great queen Melusine still swims. Where the river holds our secrets and the night sky carries the lore that has always been waiting to be held.

What is included in this weekend?
Your place includes all meals for the weekend — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — alongside your gorgeously wild accommodation for the duration of the retreat. Everything you need to arrive, settle in, and be fully held for the weekend is taken care of.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. We offer a monthly payment plan, spreading the cost evenly over several months. To take advantage of the cheapest payment plan, book early and spread the cost over more months!
Who is this workshop for?
There are no rules or prerequisites as to who is welcome to attend the weekend. Quite simply, Star-coiled is for anyone who feels the call!
With that said, the weekend will include a blend of ritual work, teaching, nature-connection and self-led exploration. The work we will be doing is deep — Melusine does not play around — but we also aim to make it enjoyable and nourishing, and you can be sure you'll be held at every turn.
Will I have to share a room?
Although there are some single rooms at the venue, most attendees will need to share a room with someone else (Charlie and Ceryn included!). If this is something you're concerned about, please let us know; equally, if there is someone in particular you would like to share a room with, you will have the opportunity to tell us their name at the time of booking.
Rest assured that we will be opening the circle to our weekend before we arrive at Erth, meaning that there will be an opportunity to say hello to your potential roommate before we arrive on the day.
What will the food be like?
We believe there is nothing worse than heading home after a day of deep energy work and activation to find yourself faced with an unsatisfying meal! For that reason, we will be providing nourishing and filling meals each night, as well as breakfast and lunch options, with a special emphasis on local delicacies (pasties and cream tea anyone?).
And don't worry, we understand the importance of adhering to dietary requirements. Within your attendee information form, you will be asked to share any dietary requirements that you have.
Is the venue easy to get to?
Absolutely. Located a short distance from Saltash train station, Erth Retreat offers a complementary minibus for those arriving into the station, which is accessible from both Newport and Exeter airports. For those driving, Erth Retreat is a short distance from the A38, one of the main roads through Cornwall. Full location information will be provided nearer to the date of the retreat.
